Italian Atelier · since 1978 The art of shoemaking, made by hand.
Entirely handcrafted in Naples. Natural white-crust leathers, three hand-applied dyeing processes and patina, Blake construction and a Saphir wax polish: a depth of colour no industrial shoe can match.

From the heart of Naples
The artisan’s hand, in every detail
Eighteen master shoemakers, one single standard: handcrafted excellence.
Maison
Our Savoir-Faire
Four principles handed down from master to master, distinguishing every shoe signed Danilo Damiani.
We start from natural white-crust leathers: three distinct hand-applied dyeing processes create an unrepeatable depth of colour, then sealed with a Saphir wax polish.
The sole is stitched directly to the upper with the Blake method: a lighter, more flexible and sleeker shoe that can still be resoled over the years.
We select only the finest hides, chosen skin by skin, worked entirely in our Naples atelier.
From the cast of the foot to a personal wooden last: we create unique shoes, designed around you and the way you walk.
The Atelier
From artisans for luxury, to our own name
Where time works in our favour
In our Naples workshop nothing is left to chance: every shoe passes through more than 200 manual steps.Born as makers for the great brands
For years we crafted shoes for the most important luxury maisons, learning the industry’s most demanding standards.
The choice to sign our work
We decided to sell directly under our own name: a shorter, more transparent supply chain, more sustainable for the client and the region.
All in Naples, under one roof
Cutting, dyeing, lasting and finishing take place entirely in our Neapolitan atelier, with no outsourcing.

The Collections

Chelsea and ankle lace-ups, for a bold character in every season.
The monk strap, a detail for connoisseurs. Burnished brass buckles worked by hand.
Belts and small leather goods, patinated to match your shoes.
A personal last, shaped to your foot. The pinnacle of our savoir-faire.
Savoir-Faire
From hide to shoe: our process
The last
Everything begins with the wooden last, the heart of the shoe. In bespoke we carve it on the cast of your foot.
The cutting
The leathers are selected and cut by hand, following the tension and grain of each individual hide.
The lasting
The upper is stretched over the last and the sole stitched with the Blake method: lightness, flexibility and a sleek line.
The patina
Colour and depth are born by hand, brushstroke after brushstroke, up to a mirror finish.
Into your hands

The measure of craftsmanship

" I ordered a pair of bespoke Oxfords. The fit is perfect and the patina shifts with every light. I will never go back to an industrial shoe. "
Alessandro Bertelli

" I have worn them for eight years, resoled twice. They seem to improve with time, as only well-made things do. "
Henry Whitmore
Architect, London
" Impeccable welcome in the boutique. They make you feel part of a craft, not of a sale. Authentic, discreet luxury. "
Giulia Fontana
